Dr. Mohan Kumar is a skilled and professional dermatologist and dermatosurgeon practising in Coimbatore. After finishing his MBBS from Coimbatore medical college, Coimbatore, he did his MD (DVL) from PSG IMS&R, Coimbatore, which is one of the best medical educational institutes in Tamilnadu. He was trained in an advanced laser, dermatosurgery clinics under the mentorship of best dermatologists and aesthetic consultants of Coimbatore.
He can manage Skin, Hair, Nail diseases, Vitiligo, Psoriasis, Eczema, Urticaria. He is performing Nail Surgery, Scar Reduction, Chemical Peel, Skin Rejuvenation Procedures. His sub-speciality interest include Sexual Health/STI and HIV Dermatoses, Sex Education, Pre and Post Marital Counselling, Sexual Disorders, Leprosy. He is also actively involved in many public sexual health awareness programmes.
He believes in treating with compassion, superior diagnostic skills and treatment abilities which are in best interest of patients. He has managed different cases of clinical dermatology. His urge to update his knowledge on recent advances has led him to attend different seminars and conferences.
He is a Life Member of Indian Association of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy ( IADVL ) and an Organising Team Member, CUTICON 2020, Coimbatore. He has published two original research article in Indian dermatology online journal ( IDOJ ) which is a peer-reviewed journal. He remains academically active in the local Dermatology community.
